Inserting a comment

1. Highlight the node after which or in which to insert the comment. If the highlighted node is expanded, the comment will be inserted within the highlighted node. If the highlighted node is collapsed, the comment will be inserted after the highlighted node.
2. Select Comment from the Insert menu.

   note: comments can be added to elements only.
